For the past few years, I have been working on my green thumb. I really dig (get it?!) growing my own food and sharing what I harvest with the people I love. I just planted my spring and summer garden, and I can't wait to watch it grow!

A couple years back, Brad helped me build some super easy garden beds and I'm now on my 3rd season with them!

Thank you @bradkism for being the general contractor today ;)------

I went to a new place for my starts and seeds this year thanks to a dear friend's recommendation and was super thrilled with the selection and customer service at Garden Treasures in Arlington! Their farm sits on 40 acres off Highway 530 and is super close to our new home. Not only did their staff answer all of my questions when I made my initial phone call, they were super attentive and knowledgeable when I came in to put my garden blueprint together.

Tomato starts now available for public sale!

I can't believe I had driven past this place about 200 times in recent years and had never stopped in! They're going to be my go-to for all things garden, landscaping and expertise!

I picked up starts of arugula, spinach, lettuce and spring mixes for salads, plus four different kinds of tomatoes and all the herbs I need for my herb garden. I also picked up carrot, zucchini and radish seeds, so I am all set!

Here we grow! -- Can't wait to go back to @garden_treasuresfarm for more this weekend --

Brad and I had plans to MASSIVELY build out our garden this year, which hasn't happened quite yet due to the demands of wrapping up our remodel, but we definitely have a good start to the season. We also saved the old windows and doors from when we started our remodel and have plans to use them to frame up and build a greenhouse. Stay tuned for more!

I'm excited to venture back to Garden Treasures this weekend to pick out some additional plants, shrubs and other landscaping delights for around our house. So much to do!

Have a great planting season, Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
