Diving with sharks is on many a bucket list, but if you've been saving money to travel to Mexico, Hawaii or South Africa to make this dream come true, you can check the experience off your list much closer to home.

Tacoma's Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium offers Eye-to-Eye Shark Dives inside their South Pacific Aquarium's Outer Reef habitat, which is home to sixteen sharks, colorful fish and touchable stingrays.

You can book a 60-minute adventure to learn about the biology of these massive creatures while understanding ways we can help protect them in the wild.

The cost is $60 for members and $75 for non-members, and the experience is open to those age 8 and up!

Enjoy your dive, Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
