Ted's Blog: Big Win on Prime-time

November 15, 2016

This Sunday on prime-time TV the Seattle Seahawks played a hell of a NFL football game. Now I have not blogged about the Seahawks except when I went to the VMAC and saw them practice, side note the Seahawks are 2-0 since Migs and I saw them practice. So this was the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots in what was one of the better NFL games I have watched in a while. New England came into the game with only one loss and that loss came when Tom Brady was still on his suspension, they had not lost with Tom Brady at the helm until Sunday night. This was also a rematch of the Super Bowl a couple years ago and also some would say maybe a preview of the upcoming Super Bowl as the Seahawks and the Patriots are consistently two of the best teams in the NFL. It was set up to be awesome game but all too often the great games on paper don't live to the hype. This game was not that and lived up to the hype.

The game started out like you figured it would and boom the lead changes were upon us. It seemed like from the first quarter to the end of the game with all the lead changes that whoever scored last would probably win the game. The game also featured some of the best and biggest personalities in the NFL and in the NFL if you have a big personality you better be damn a good player which they are. The stars were out and saw some great stuff, number one I would have to bring up the huge hit on Rob Gronkowski. Gronk is a stud and a huge dude so seeing Earl Thomas hit him like that was awesome. I always liked playing defense when I played so seeing that hit got me all jacked up. It was also one of the few times I have seen Gronk look a bit off, he came roaring back in the forth quarter but Earl rocked him. The other thing that stood out to me and it should not be a surprise but the Seahawks do not get intimidated by anyone. In almost some weird turn of fate the Patriots were down a touchdown and they were about to score but had to punch it in from 1 yard line. Now this is odd because the Seahawks lost that Super Bowl after not being able to score from inside the 5 yard line and throwing a interception. The Seahawks defense though stood tall and never let them score, almost even funnier they did not even throw it until forth down. Everyone will remember that the Seahawks should have thrown the ball so this was for Seahawks fans some sweet justice. Great game and the Seahawks look like they are rolling
