Summertime reading

May 16, 2018

Summer is almost here, and I do love spending time outside camping, hiking, relaxing on the beach, all that stuff.  I also love reading and listening to audiobooks, which I can do at the same time as I'm doing any of those other things.

I have a couple of books on my list already (including a new title from one of my favorite local authors, Terry Brooks), but I'm always on the lookout for new titles.  I usually go for a lot of science fiction, so I was excited to see this list from Den of Geek:

I also like humorous biographies (I'm reading the new Bruce Campbell bio this summer), so I found this list, too:

Lastly, even though it's not going to be out in time for summer, I am super jazzed about "Jonesy: Nine Lives on the Nostromo", a new humor book about the life of Ellen Ripley's cat on board the deep space mining vessel Nostromo, from the movie "Alien".  One of my all-time favorite movies, and I liked the cat in it so much that I actually adopted a cat that looked just like it and named it Jones, just like in the movie!

Anyway, if you like reading as much as I do, I hope these lists will help!

Have fun, talk to you soon, stay nerdy!
