Earlier this week, we played the audio of Dave Grohl haging out with some of the most famous characters of all time: Elmo and Big Bird!
I love that this bad ass rocker guy who has put out some amazing music and shows and he's hanging out with this lovable duo!
It made me sit back and think about how our KISW family has grown so much in the past year!
Jeetz and his wife just welcomed baby Hank!
Taryn and Brad welcomed baby Barrett!
Even my parents and I have have been fostering a little one!
Happy Halloween from Lilo & Stitch and a white claw!! #halloween2019

That being said, I'm sure everyone is ecstatic that they are not limited to the mind numbing kid music of the past. We have awesome rock bands putting out lullaby/kids records or people turning hit songs into lullaby versions.
We even talked about how eerie Metallica's "Enter Sandman" sounds the other day on air!
But did you know that Amy Lee of Evanescence put out an actual children's album too?
Or that Chris Ballew, singer of The Presidents of the United States of America, plays kid music under the stage name Caspar Babypants?
That got me thinking of the playlist my family and I have curated for our foster kiddo (who loves all kinds of music and loves to dance) and I wanted to share some of the awesome rockin' lullubies that you can jam out to with your little one!
Living On A Prayer
Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Paint It Black
Here I Go Again
and my dad's personal favorite: Take On Me
Whether it's a lullaby, a rock song covered for kids, or just a regular song, what song(s) do you like to rock out to with your kids? Or what songs do you remember rocking out with your folks?
